Academy prom

On Friday 24 June students and staff celebrated the end of examinations with the annual prom. The event took place at the Chesterfield B2net stadium. The students arrived in range of vehicles including limousines, the Scooby Doo van and a motorbike. Jack Dando was crowned prom king and Sheila Lee prom Queen whilst Nicole Bedford was voted best dressed female and Carl Keith best dressed male. Mr Freer thanked his team of tutors, Ms Bloor, the teaching and support staff for all their hard work. He also thanked all of the students and wished them well in their future. For the first time a number of the students will return to the Academy in September to begin post 16 courses.
