For the Community How will families and the wider community benefit from the Academy?
Parents and carers will be actively encouraged to get involved in school life and the education of their children so they understand the expectations of what they should be learning and the progress they are making at the Academy.
There will be opportunities for families and people from the local community to enjoy a range of facilities and services such as family learning, adult education, sports and cultural activities, as well as health and social care. We welcome your views on what extra facilities the Academy could offer.
The Academy will continue to be a member of the Bolsover and Staveley Learning community where it will work closely with the other schools and learning organisations.
