Shirebrook Academy

The Academy will be offering a range of post-16 courses from September 2011. The courses will be offered in partnership with Chesterfield College. Students will be registered as Chesterfield College students and will have full access to all of the facilities at the college. Students will be taught for the majority of the time at the Academy.

The courses offered by the Academy are:

BTEC level 3 Applied Science

BTEC level 3 Sports

BTEC level 2 Construction and the Built Environment

BTEC level 2 Health and Social Care.

The Academy sponsors, All Roads and Sheffield Hallam University will be supporting the delivery of the post-16 courses by providing mentors and opportunities for work experience.
