Introduction
Shirebrook Academy is committed to raising standards of attainment and providing students with the skills needed to progress successfully into further education, employment, and adult life. Personal Development has a strong focus across the curriculum and co-curricular offer. Careers Education and Guidance provision, forms a substantial element of the Personal Development programme, complemented by RSHE and Citizenship. The programme takes a holistic approach to developing students’ knowledge and skills to successfully navigate their transition to adult life.
